I found this table abandoned on the side of the road in my neighborhood and just new it had potential.

Here are the steps I took to transform this into a masterpece:

1. Clean thoroughly
2. Remove contact paper
3. Sand down all surfaces with 80 followed by 220 grit sand paper
4. Clean again
5. Masked off portions that I did not want stained
6. Applied Mini Wax Pre-Conditioner
7. Applied Mini Wax Gel Stain in Walnut
8. Mask off portions that I did not want painted
9. Primed with Rustoleum
10. Painted
11. Added wallpaper to the inside of the drawer
12. Switched out hardware
